The Philanthropic Initiatives Nurturing Knowledge (P.I.N.K) Legacy Foundation was founded by the members of Psi Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated on January 31, 2018.

It is a 501c3 nonprofit and non-partisan organization.The Foundation is designed exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, including, but not limited to, the implementation of philanthropic initiatives that nurture and promote increased knowledge in the community we serve. The primary objective of the foundation is to secure the necessary funding to implement the purpose. goals and programs of Psi Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. P.I.N.K is the pathway that will allow the sorority to continue to relate to and support the needs of the Shelby County, Alabama community. Moreover, it will ensure that the concerns and emphasis of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated do not go unaddressed in these communities. Through charitable donations made to the foundation, fundraisers, building lasting partnerships with local businesses. making meaningful connections with charitable organizations, and through continuous community outreach, Psi Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will continue to live out its creed in providing service to all mankind.
